Schools cannot spot health problems early across hundreds of students, and teachers and principals have nothing to act on until something has already gone wrong. Bloom is a working platform with separate teacher, principal and student views of the same picture.

How it was judged

Three judges. Six questions. Each scored 1 to 5, so 30 marks from each judge, and a team's score is the average of the three. Nothing earned earlier in the season carried into it — the room decided the finale on its own.

  1. Is the problem real, significant, and worth solving?
  2. Does the solution meaningfully address the problem?
  3. Is there evidence that customers/users outside the team actually want it?
  4. Is there a credible path to becoming a viable business?
  5. Was the pitch clear, compelling, and convincing?
  6. Do you believe this team can execute?
